Las circunstancias derivadas de una pandemia, eran del todo desconocidas para los habitantes de Daimiel, excepción de algún centenario que recuerde en su niñez lo acontecido en la anterior calamidad hace más de un siglo.

Aunque, afortunadamente, la plaga va remitiendo son sufridas secuelas las que deja este covid19 en la población daimieleña. Abuelos, padres, hermanos, se nos han ido sin apenas poderles decir adiós, dada la virulencia del maldito bicho.

Empatía y apoyo en este trayecto final, es lo que han desplegado todos los componentes del Tanatorio de Daimiel “Virgen de las Cruces”, con sobrada experiencia en su labor, aunque inusitada frecuencia durante los dos últimos meses de inolvidable recuerdo. Alivio y máximo apoyo el dispensado principalmente por Jose Ramón Díaz del Campo, Luis Fernando Carabaño y Julián Borondo, los tres empleados de a pie que han estado y aún continúan en estado de alerta en circunstancias psicológicas de fuerte presión las soportada por estos abnegados empleados de la compañía y ejemplares ciudadanos de Daimiel, cumplidores de su labor profesional, con ayudas psicológicas a la vez hacia los afligidos y desorientados familiares, no acostumbrados a momentos tan trágicos y acelerados a la vez. Función determinante la de estos modélicos empleados, dotados en todo momento del material técnico exigido por Sanidad más los añadidos complementarios que han estimado oportuno los dirigentes de esta empresa, generosos en materiales de alta calidad en prevención del trabajo de sus funcionarios, trabajando de noche en las ocasiones que el deceso marcaba, sepelios acontecidos a veces entre cuatro y cinco horas desde el desenlace final.

La dirección del Tanatorio “Virgen de las Cruces”, agradece la compresión y el trato recibido por cada familia, amigos y allegados a los fallecidos, a la vez que transmite de todo corazón sus más sentidas condolencias a quienes perdieron un ser querido en tan agresiva plaga.
