El nuevo punto limpio abre sus puertas

El nuevo punto limpio  empezó a funcionar a principios de semana. Este nuevo centro de recogida de residuos se sitúa en el polígono industrial Daimiel Sur y más concretamente  en calle de la Formación. Tiene una superficie de 3800 m2 situado en una parcela dotacional de 10.000  m2 propiedad del Ayuntamiento de Daimiel. Esta instalación cumple la nueva normativa de Gestión de Residuos de Aparatos Eléctricos y Electrónicos y otras exigencias en materia de seguridad, alumbrado y saneamiento, requisitos que no cumplía el punto limpio antiguo situado en camino Cañadillas y que incomprensiblemente estaba construido en una parcela que no era de titularidad municipal, y que tampoco registraba ningún acuerdo de cesión,arrendamiento o compraventa entre los propietarios  de la finca y el Ayuntamiento.
El nuevo Punto Limpio seguirá manteniendo el mismo servicio mediante zonas separadas. Son tres zonas que se encuentran tras la recepción para  control y peso de los residuos que se depositan. Otra área bajo cubierta para almacenar aquellos restos más inestables, residuos eléctricos y electrónicos (ordenadores, monitores, televisores, pilas…). Existe un área de equipamiento con tres depósitos de 1 metro cúbico y en otra área de clasificación se encuentran los contenedores cerrados de 3 metros cúbicos para recogida selectiva (ropa, calzado y textiles, etc) y aceite vegetal. Asimismo hay un muelle con capacidad para 7 contenedores de 20 a 40 metros cúbicos (tres de voluminosos, dos de madera, uno de colchones y otro de reserva).
La construcción de la instalación fue adjudicada a la empresa que realizó la mayor baja económica, siendo dicha rebaja de 7.000 euros sobre el precio de licitación que ascendía a 120.000 euros. Parte de esta cantidad ha sido subvencionada por otras administraciones, el resto ha sido asumido por las arcas municipales.

¿Pero como se construyó un punto limpio en terreno que no era municipal, sin acuerdo registrado?

 
Esta pregunta, que a bote  pronto tiene difícil respuesta por parte de quien tomó la decisión, tiene un trasfondo mayor como es, el hecho de que los daimieleños tenemos que asumir un gasto que ya fue ejecutado y que podría haberse dedicado a otros menesteres tan necesitados en el municipio, y que curiosamente no ha dado lugar a debates dialécticos entre los grupos políticos municipales.
