Gigantes y Cabezudos, junto a la mascota “UVITO”, abrían la cabalgata que llegó a la Plaza de España para proceder al acto de la “pisá” de la uva, realizado por el popular personaje televisivo del programa Masterchef de TVE Pepe Rodríguez, junto al sumiller Custodio Zamarra. Las uvas se hicieron mosto, que con posterioridad fue ofrendado en manos de los vendimiadores de honor de hogaño, Tobías Díaz y Dolores Fernández a la Patrona de Daimiel la Virgen de las Cruces, en el mural de las Mínimas. Gran participación de daimieleños en todos los actos que organizó FEDADA para la celebración de esta X Fiesta de la Vendimia, que se extendió durante dos fines de semana consecutivos.
No cabe duda acerca del arraigo que este evento está logrando entre la población, con guiño a la vendimia de antaño. Actos muy variados, destacando como novedad la I Feria de la Viña, la uva, el vino y su cultura. La presentación del Himno de la Fiesta de la Vendimia y la actuación del grupo de rock celta “Mar del Norte”, aportaron la magnífica nota musical en este año. Todo ello mezclado, cada cosa a su tiempo, con concurso de vendimia, pregón de la Fiesta, chorizada popular, cata de vino, chateando por la almanta,… etc.
Y el colofón de esta Fiesta de la Vendimia, en el Parterre, con la jornada del domingo 8 de octubre “Daimiel al Gusto” y la clausura de la celebración. Aquí se volcaron los daimieleños, degustando las múltiples y variadas tapas típicas manchegas, muchos ataviados con trajes típicos del lugar, aportando un ambiente único que sólo se alcanza a ver en esta multitudinaria celebración.
Las raíces y el folk manchego se expresaron durante estos dos fines de semana y, por lo apreciado, esta fiesta gozará de continuidad, ya que cada año el evento sale más fortalecido. Enhorabuena a sus organizadores, FEDADA, y a todos los participantes. Bueno para Daimiel.
