         El próximo sábado 14 de marzo, a partir de las 10,00 horas, los mejores especialistas de ciclismo en pista, cadete y junior, se darán cita en el Velódromo Municipal de nuestra localidad, para disputar la 11ª jornada de la Liga Nacional de Pista.

         Esta competición, que consta de trece jornadas, se está disputando desde finales del mes de octubre pasado, con la primera cita que se celebró en Valladolid, y pondrá punto y final, de nuevo en la ciudad vallisoletana, el próximo 28 de marzo, es organizada por la Real Federación Española de Ciclismo, y para esta prueba cuenta, como es lógico, con la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Daimiel y del Club Ciclista Daimiel.

Nuestro velódromo, será el escenario en donde se celebren las pruebas olímpicas de scracht, velocidad, puntuación y keirin.

         Mientras tanto, se habrán disputado un total de trece citas, a lo largo de toda la geográfia nacional, siendo Daimiel, una de las únicas ocho localidades, podríamos decir, privilegiadas que albergará una de esas citas, las restantes son, además de la mencionada anteriormente, Molina de Segura (Murcia), Tomelloso, Barcelona, Valencia, Dos Hermanas (Sevilla) y la madrileña localidad de Galapagar.

         A tal cita, la daimieleña María García-Consuegra Miró, que milita en el conjunto madrileño del C.C. Sanse, llega con la seria posibilidad de auparse a uno de los puestos “podium” ya que, gracias a su victoria en Barcelona, ocupa en estos momentos la cuarta posición de la clasificación general de esta Liga Nacional. También podremos contar con la presencia del ciclista del Ciclos Ebora, de Talavera de la Reina, el daimieleño Alonso Pérez Morales. Otro punto de atención para los aficionados, estará en el tomellosero Daniel Herreros, del ciudadrealeño equipo del Fenavín, y que ocupará uno de los diez primeros puestos de esta clasificación.

         Por tanto, con todos estos alicientes, es de debido cumplimiento para los amantes del ciclismo de nuestra localidad, y para los amantes del deporte en general, asistir en la matinal de sábado, al Velódromo Municipal para disfrutar de la espectacularidad que alberga el ciclismo en pista.
