Nueva victoria de Esther Jiménez de los Galanes en Argamasilla

La corredora daimieleña se impuso en los 10 kilómetros de Argamasilla de Alba, donde también el club Saturno quedaba en primer lugar por equipos mixtos. En la clasificación por clubes del Circuito de Ciudad Real, también se consiguió la victoria, quedando a un punto del líder en la general.

Daimiel Noticias. – La corredora daimieleña Esther Jiménez de los Galanes lograba el pasado domingo una nueva victoria. Esta vez, en los 10 kilómetros de Argamasilla de Alba, donde también el club Saturno se impuso por equipos mixtos. En la clasificación por clubes del Circuito de Ciudad Real, también se consiguió la victoria, quedando a un punto del líder en la general.

Cerca de 700 atletas tomaron la salida, alcanzando la meta 41 integrantes de la entidad daimieleña, consiguiendo otros podios, como el tercer puesto de la general de Ramona Trujillo, el segundo sénior de Alfonso Navarro (5º en la general), el tercero M40 de Santiago Calvo (1º por no acumulabilidad, 8º en la general), el tercero M35 de Israel Prado (2º por no acumulabilidad) y el triunfo en M55 de Andrés Fernández-Calvillo.

Entre los 10 primeros de sus respectivas categorías también concluían Álvaro Honrado (7º sénior), Sergio Rodríguez-Barbero (8º sénior), Raúl Javier Moreno (7º M40), Manuel Fernando Gómez del Pulgar (7º M45), Carmen Giménez de los Galanes (5ª M40), María José Gómez-Limón (4ª M50) y Pilar Ortega (7ª M50). En las Carreras Mini del sábado, Carlos Pareja era 4º cadete.

El pasado sábado, Rodrigo Ares quedaba segundo de la general en la Carrera Monumental de Manzanares. También el pasado fin de semana, Higinio Gallego corría en 9´15″ los 3000 m en un control celebrado en Ciudad Real, mientras que los hermanos Rodríguez-Barbero disputaban el 1500 m, marcando Sergio 4´38″ y Alberto 4´43″.

Próximas citas

El próximo sábado por la noche el Club Saturno participará en una doble cita. En Piedrabuena, octava prueba del Circuito de Ciudad Real, sobre 10 kilómetros, con 35 corredores inscritos. Por otro lado, el club desplazará un grupo de atletas al Campeonato de España de 10 kilómetros en Ruta, en Tudela (Navarra). En categoría absoluta, conformarán el equipo Alfonso Navarro, Juan Francisco Fernández, Israel Prado e Higinio Gallego. En máster, competirán en sus respectivas categorías, y a nivel colectivo en M35, Miguel Vera, Andrés Fernández-Calvillo, Juan Francisco Fernández, Higinio Gallego e Israel Prado. Además, Esther Jiménez de los Galanes y Ramona Trujillo participarán defendiendo al C.A. Membrilla.
