Uno del pueblo.
Ante buena asistencia de público en tarde-noche muy calurosa, el Daimiel RCF entró en liza en esta temporada 2018-19. Hubo buen ambiente, con caras nuevas en la actual Junta Directiva del Club empezando por su presidenta, Mónica Pinilla, que transmite ilusión, buenas sensaciones y talante futbolero muy positivo. Ojalá se vea acompañada por la diosa fortuna en la misma medida que ella contagia optimismo. Se dirigió a la afición, presente y ausente, agradeciendo la fidelidad hacia los colores del Daimiel, pero pidiendo también la asistencia al Estadio de El Carmen para apoyar al Daimiel RCF en toda la época del año, ahora con el calorcito y buen tiempo y más adelante cuando el crudo invierno nos invite a quedarnos en el sofá. Buena arenga la de Mónica Pinilla solicitando por encima de todo el máximo apoyo para el Club más representativo de Daimiel. Sentida gratitud expresó hacia las empresas que patrocinan al Club y que temporada sí y temporada también, consolidan con sus importantes apoyos los cimientos económicos de la entidad. La presencia del Alcalde en la grada acompañando a la Presidenta testimoniaba asimismo el interés de nuestro Consistorio hacia el deporte rey. El Concejal de Deportes también estuvo presente en los actos, así como varios ediles más.

Rimun, que tampoco necesita más presentación, habló acerca de una plantilla de futbolistas mezcla de jóvenes y veteranos que nos puede dar buenas tardes de futbol. Un equipo técnico con experiencia, se volcará para lograr cimentar un buen Daimiel RCF. Pidió paciencia y tiempo para lograr el objetivo. Empate a cero fue el resultado final, en típico partido de pretemporada, con caras nuevas en la plantilla que precisan trabajo y entreno para acoplar las buenas cualidades que se intuyen en los jugadores, algunos muy jóvenes pero que con calma y paciencia pueden cuajar con los veteranos un buen conjunto. La calidad contrastada de Jaime y Jesús cambió la cara del equipo cuando entraron al césped para disputar el último tramo del encuentro. Antes, nos había gustado jugadores conocidos como Bombi -el portero-, Chele, Kike, Pedrero, Rojas… el portero Jorge, que tuvo grandes intervenciones en el segundo tiempo, en fin, que se adivinan buenas tardes de fútbol en El Carmen. El Sporting  de Alcázar falló un penalti en las postrimerías del partido y dejó muy buena sensación en un match amistoso pero muy competido, no exento de “picante” en algunos momentos. Mucho calor y entretenido encuentro. Ánimos para la nueva Directiva y ¡Hala Daimiel!.
