EL XVIII TROFEO HORTENSIO MANCEBO LOGRÓ REUNIR A MAS OCHENTA JOVENES CICLISTAS

La tarde del pasado sábado 20 de mayo, la Avenida de los Poetas de nuestra localidad albergó una nueva edición, y ya van dieciocho, del Trofeo Hortensio Mancebo de Ciclismo Escolar. Un trofeo que organiza el Club Ciclista Daimiel en homenaje al que es el Presidente de Honor de este club.
 
Fueron ochenta y tres el número de participantes que hasta Daimiel se desplazaron para competir en este trofeo, uno de los más veteranos, en lo que concierne a ciclismo categoría escuelas, de los que se celebran en nuestra región.
 
Ochenta y tres jóvenes ciclistas, integrantes de todos los clubes de nuestra región, llegados de lugares tan distantes, como Almansa, Ontur o Albacete, e incluso de la Comunidad Valenciana como fue el caso de la presencia en Daimiel de la actual Subcampeona de España Infantil, Ainara Albert Bosch, perteneciente al Bicicletas Club Picassent.
 
Fueron cuatro las categorías que  disputaron en la calurosa tarde del sábado en el exigente circuito de la Avenida de los Poetas, el citado trofeo:
 
Minipromesas, sobre un recorrido de 1 kilometro, en la que cabe destacar la primera posición fémina de la corredora local, Andrea Roselló Hernández.
 
Promesas, con un recorrido de 2 Km. y en donde concluyó en segunda posición fémina la ciclista local María Pérez Castelló y sexto de la general David Martínez Sanchez Camacho. En esta categoría, el Club Ciclista Daimiel notó la ausencia de Alejandro Muñoz Torrero, que al coincidir con su Primera Comunión, no pudo participar, y decimos que lo echó en falta, porque hasta la fecha este corredor cuenta su presencia en la pruebas ciclistas de esta temporada por victorias.
 
Alevin, sobre 8 Km en donde Alex García Consuegrá Miró concluyó en la quinta posición final, su hermano Marc concluyó en undécima posición y Carlos García Consuegra Rodriguez-Portugués fue décimo tercero.
 
En categoría infantil, sobre exigente recorrido de 16 Km, Alonso Pérez Morales subió al cajón del podiun como tercer clasificado, Antonio Migallón Motilla, acabo en una más que meritorio quinta posición final y el debutante, esta temporada, Sergio Hidalgo Carrasco se clasificó en la decimosexta posición de un total de veintinueve participantes que tomaron la salida.
 
Cabe destacar en la categoría infantil los resultados conseguidos por las dos féminas locales María García Consuegra Miró y Claudia Martínez Sánchez Camacho, que subieron al podium como segunda y tercera, respectivamente, clasificadas, siendo la vencedora en esta categoría infantil fémina, como era de esperar, la subcampeona de España, la valenciana Ainara Albert.
