Paco Fernández Bravo Galiana consigue nadar 24 horas seguidas

A las 21:00 horas del domingo, el nadador daimieleño lograba la hazaña con el apoyo y los ánimos de más de 400 personas que se congregaron en la piscina climatizada para no perderse este desafío. «Como en una nube y dispuesto a nadar otras 24 horas», aseguraba Fernández nada más acabar. En total, nadó más de 50 kilómetros (2000 largos).
Eran las 20:55 horas del sábado día 21 y Paco se lanzaba al agua. Por delante 24 horas de un reto difícil de olvidar para los que nos encontrábamos en la Piscina Climatizada y tuvimos la suerte de seguir  de cerca hasta el final.  Emociones encontradas, ilusión, responsabilidad, trabajo, sacrificio y esfuerzo se daban la mano con un objetivo común solidario.
En todo momento Paco estuvo acompañado con personas nadando a su lado. Amigos, familia, nadadores del club de natación Daimiel, entrenador,  y hasta una subcampeona del mundo de aguas abiertas “María Luisa Cabañero”.
Momentos buenos y no tan buenos en esas 24 horas, como cualquier deportista, que tuvieron un final feliz. A las 20:30 se abrieron las puertas y Paco estaba “arropado” por unas 400 personas que rodeaban la piscina. Emoción contenida, aplausos y gritos de apoyo cuando se terminó la prueba. También  algún que otro llanto que ponía punto final a un experiencia única que no había tenido ningún precedente en Daimiel.
Para destacar, el ambiente, la unión de todos y lo que allí se “respiraba”. Paco no solo superó el reto sino que consiguió transmitirnos de una manera diferente. De la manera solo reservada para unos pocos…… gracias por dejarme acompañarte PACO.
