CLASES DE BANDURRIA EN LA ESCUELA LOCAL DE FOLKLORE DE DAIMIEL

¿Sabías que en Daimiel tienes la oportunidad de aprender a tocar la bandurria? En la Escuela Local de Folklore puedes iniciarte a tocar un instrumento con mucha historia y muy curioso.

* Sabías que es un instrumento músico de cuerda, semejante a la guitarra, pero de mucho menor tamaño que ésta y de una forma relativamente más estrecha en la parte que se junta con el mástil.
* Antiguamente contaba con tan sólo tres cuerdas y el mástil liso y sin trastes; hoy tiene doce cuerdas pareadas, de tripa las seis primeras, entorchadas las otras seis, y el mástil con catorce trastes fijos de metal.
* Se toca con una púa de concha o de cuerno de búfalo, y sirve de tiple en el concierto de instrumentos de su clase, principalmente de música popular.
* En España aparece mencionada en el siglo XIV la bandurria, en el Libro de buen amor, del Arcipreste de Hita.
* Se sabe que en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX, la bandurria formaba parte de las rondallas junto a otros cuatro instrumentos típicos como la guitarra.
* La bandurria se hizo asimismo muy popular en rondas callejeras de guitarras y algún instrumento de percusión, como el triángulo.
* En el siglo XX se extendió por casi todas las regiones españolas y ha llegado a formar parte de orquestas cultas de «pulso y púa»
* En las estudiantinas las bandurrias eran las protagonistas.
* En la actualidad, la cantante manchega Rozalén presume de iniciar su andadura musical aprendiendo a tocar la bandurria haciendo un gesto a este instrumento tan especial en cada uno de sus conciertos.
