Uno del pueblo

Se nos han ido. La pandemia pudo con ellos. A casi todos nos ha tocado sufrir en mayor o menor intensidad la terrible letalidad del cruel coronavirus. Una afección que habitualmente se superaba con tratamiento moderado, la ha complicado covid hasta fatales consecuencias. Un centenar de daimieleños han sucumbido en esta pandemia, encogiéndonos el alma, infectada de dolor ante lo inevitable. Cuando nos llega la noticia, una tremenda sacudida nos paraliza el interior. Cada uno de ellos es una vida, me rebelo a contabilizarles dentro de ninguna cifra oficial. Los suyos continúan entre nosotros. Son cónyuges, hijos, padres, hermanos, abuelos, nietos, sobrinos, familias que han perdido a un miembro del clan, seres queridos que ya conocen el otro lado, casi seguro luminoso y claro. Tal vez el cielo hubiera podido esperar en vidas aún con lozana madurez, con proyectos ilusionantes por descubrir y disfrutar, planes y pensamientos que se los han llevado en sus inescrutables recuerdos finales.

El recuerdo de cada uno de ellos perdurará en los que aquí quedamos y puede que hasta nos saque una sonrisa acordarnos de momentos compartidos. Se ha luchado aquí en la tierra, tanto como las circunstancias han permitido, por conseguir salvarles, el traicionero ataque, cobarde y desconocido, nos pillo por la espada. Y algunos, cayeron tras durísima pelea.

Hoy, eso si, tenemos más estrellas en el cielo, espíritus felices que nos contemplan desde sus más puros deseos, sobrados de amor, que ya nos están transmitiendo. Ángeles , estrellas, felicidad…., quién sabe. Mientras sigan en nuestro permanente recuerdo, siempre estarán vivos. Y en todo caso, si así lo ha dispuesto , hágase Su Voluntad .

En memoria a todos los que se han marchado. Y a mi buen amigo Isaac.
