Coros, duetos y arreglos producto de ajustes caseros, todo queda en casa, pero pasen y escuchen el trabajo final de esta singular familia. Familia que canta unida, familia que perdura, familia que triunfa. Abuelo, padres y nietos dan fondo y forma a este volúmen musical, resumen de “Toda una vida”, así denominado este disco reciente, probable que dé paso a otros, no tiene por qué ser el último.

Anecdotario variado el despachado por el paisano Isidoro, con menciones frecuentes para Antoñita Moreno, Manolo Escobar, Julio Iglesias, Antonio Molina, Lilian de Celis… la “competencia” entre los que se hizo valer, regular la borriquilla. Y un fondo de sentido del humor propio de la persona inteligente que es. En la Casa de Cultura, cantamos sus boleros melancólicos, cargados de amor, los allí presentes, con su voz marcando personalidad, clase y todavía, potencia. Momentos de emoción, al tararear la concurrencia, con mezcla de edades, las entrañables letras de boleros o tangos, acompañado en el directo por sus hijos Tulio, Fernando o su nieta Alba, colaboradores en el álbum, que incluye además el tema ganador en los setenta del festival de la OTI, equivalente en Hispanoamérica al actual festival de Eurovisión.

Amor por la familia, amor por la música, amor por su pueblo, amor por el Teatro Ayala…, es de Daimiel y nos hizo cantar y sentir aquello de que “Somos de Daimiel”, entre sentidas palabras del alcalde y la buena comunicación de Braulio Molina, canalizador del emotivo y entrañable acto.

“Si tú me dices ven, lo dejo todo”, haciendo “Caminito” sin olvidar “La Bohemia” para “Volver”, tras cuarenta años de vida en común a proclamar su amor a su María José. Un “Te quiero”, que lo sepas, y que se entere todo el mundo.
