El espíritu de concordia imperó ante todo durante los veinte minutos de duración del evento. Una bandera de considerables dimensiones, fue trasladada hasta el pie del mástil, por un número de niños comandados por los concejales de deportes e infancia respectivos. Ahí aguardaban autoridades civiles y militares más la representación de la policía local y guardia civil.
