LA BUENA AFICIÓN DE DAIMIEL SI QUE SE MOJA POR LOS TOROS

Uno del pueblo.

En tarde calurosa y nublada, corrida de expectación para el atractivo cartel presentado por Tauroemoción. Con toreros y toros más que interesantes para los buenos aficionados, dio comienzo el paseíllo ante las cámaras de Castilla La Mancha Media y los tendidos ocupados en su mitad con aficionados de calidad. Pero ya es sabido que el hombre propone y Dios dispone. Y he aquí que en esta histórica tarde las adversidades climatológicas solo permitieron llegar hasta la mitad de la corrida, momento en el que el aguacero no propició la continuidad del festejo. El ruedo se convirtió en una enorme laguna donde el toreo no era posible, amén del riesgo para los profesionales actuantes. Los aficionados corrían buscando refugio ante el diluvio universal que anegó la instalación y las ilusiones de quienes estábamos disfrutando de una buena tarde de toros en Daimiel. Y digo en párrafo anterior que la tarde fue histórica porque no se recuerda la suspensión en Daimiel de ningún festejo por la lluvia. Decepción, con buen humor, entre la buena afición daimieleña, empapados casi todos como sopas, aguantando hasta el límite de lo razonable y deseosos ya de que dentro de un año se vuelva a torear en Daimiel.

Y digo torear porque eso es lo que hicieron los tres espadas, ante una corrida que pintaba para mejor, a buen seguro que se hubiera abierto la Puerta Grande de la cada vez más respetada Plaza de Toros de Daimiel. Buenos toros, probablemente, los que quedaron en chiqueros, y aceptables los que se pudieron lidiar, llevándose El Cid el mejor de la tarde, muy bien presentado, digno de la especial y exigente Plaza de Daimiel, con hechuras y cabeza y que tuvo infinita bondad, si bien muy medido en sus fuerzas por el experto torero. Buenos lances de salida, un puyazo y lucido tercio de banderillas. Brindis del Sevillano al pueblo de Daimiel en su despedida. Se lució el de Salteras ante el cornúpeta, toro de gran calidad, enjaretando tandas por derechazos y naturales, rematados con pases de pecho impecables. Caló entre la afición el buen toreo de El Cid, que una vez más falló a espadas haciéndole guardia en su primer intento. Gran ovación la otorgada por el buen público de Daimiel, que obligó al torero a saludar desde el tercio.

Emilio de Justo, triunfador en la feria anterior, se enfrentó a un toro de gran presencia y con aviesas intenciones, con respetables pitones que buscaban las nubes, defendiéndose y manseando ante las telas bien manejadas por el torero extremeño. Dejó la impronta de su buen hacer y su gran momento, junto a la gran actuación de su cuadrilla, destacando Morenito de Arlés en arriesgado par de banderillas, tercio lucido para sus buenos subalternos. La tormenta se veía venir, cayendo las primeras gotas de la posterior tempestad. El “regalito” junto a la adversidad climatológica supuso una papeleta para de Justo, que a base de esfuerzo y con la clase de este placeado torero, dejando en la cara del burel la pañosa en cada muletazo, embarcó al parado morlaco con tandas por ambos pitones de mucho mérito, lleno de valor, poder y torería. Buenas y laboriosas tandas de quien apunta a lo más alto del escalafón. Faena para aficionados, que se fue al traste, de nuevo, por el mal uso de los aceros, con cuatro pinchazos y posterior descabello. Fue silenciado, pero dejando buen sabor de boca otro año más entre los entendidos daimieleños. Qué pena este final, ya con el aguacero como fatal protagonista.

El novillo gacho de Carlos Aranda no facilitó el lucimiento del bien arropado novillero de Daimiel, con fieles partidarios cada vez más numerosos que se hicieron notar bajo el diluvio. El utrero, de poca condición, la lió en el cada vez más deteriorado ruedo, ya con charcos, y sus perversas ideas, poniendo en peligrosos apuros tanto al novillero como a su cuadrilla que bastante hizo con cumplir el expediente, aunque de modo desordenado. Para entonces, aquello era una tormenta desatada y un gran riesgo para el de Daimiel, que con un par de bemoles arriesgando el todo por el todo ante su público, logró conectar con el “atormentado” tendido sacando notables muletazos en aquel aquelarre obsequiado por el de las pezuñas y el “clima climático”. Gran esfuerzo de Aranda, con fuerte dosis de valor ante tanta dificultad. Un espadazo final fulminante, compensó todas las penalidades sufridas, recompensadas con una oreja. Anduvo en novillero ante tanto infortunio. Suerte para Carlos Aranda y apoyo de todos ante sus próximos e inmediatos compromisos.

El ganado de los hierros anunciados será juzgado plenamente en próximas ocasiones dadas las circunstancias, si bien tanto la corrida de María Loreto Charro como los novillos de El Cotillo se hicieron notar en la tarde del diluvio. El piso quedó cual piscina y las cámaras de la televisión autonómica se vieron obligadas a improvisar programación. Qué pena, coño. El espectáculo estaba saliendo bien con razonable pinta de mejorar hacia una buena tarde de toros, con disposición total de los toreros, pero el tiempo lo impidió.

Muy a considerar el talante de la empresa Tauroemoción, con Alberto García al frente, que afrontó sin rechistar la adversidad de tener que adquirir un toro más debido a la muerte de uno de los astados en el desarrollo del desembarco de la corrida, ya en los corrales de la Plaza de Daimiel. La buena trayectoria de esta empresa por toda España y Francia, con trabajo honrado y resultados notables en pro de la Fiesta Nacional, merece mejor suerte en Daimiel. Suerte y buenos deseos para Tauroemoción.

Dejo para el final al admirable público de Daimiel, de comportamiento soberbio, aguantando hasta el límite el chaparrón, buscando refugio donde no lo había, saliendo la mayoría bien calados por el dios de la lluvia, muy generoso el jodío en esta tarde. Pero ahí se mantuvo el personal, deseosos de que llegue pronto el año que viene y con la moral taurina intacta. La afición por los toros no tiene parangón y el buen aficionado lo vive. Se demostró en Daimiel en esta inolvidable tarde. En la próxima feria, mucho más y mucho mejor.
