Uno del pueblo.

Los seguidores de la Banda Municipal de Música daimieleña experimentamos sensaciones emocionantes y muy positivas viendo desfilar a nuestros músicos por las instalaciones del Parque Temático Disneyland París. Representación muy española, con piezas musicales clásicas, desde pasodobles, pasacalles y composiciones evocadoras del nombre de España, todas ellas coreadas por miles de personas, turistas de todo el mundo que acompañaban con aplausos los temas interpretados por la embajada musical de Daimiel. Pedro y sus músicos dejaron bien visible el pabellón de nuestra nación en tan histórico e inolvidable desfile, además de disfrutar actuantes y familiares de la fantasía de Disney asentada en París. “Qué viva España”, “Xàbia, “Paquito el Chocolatero”, “España cañí”, entre otros, fueron temas populares conocidos internacionalmente, que tarareaban e interpretaban coralmente gente de todo el mundo.

Durante media hora, Daimiel y sus músicos acapararon la atención del Monumental Parque Temático de París. Imágenes con la actuación de nuestra ya internacional Banda de Música se hicieron virales, recibiendo los móviles de Daimiel reproducciones del desfile desde distintos ángulos, siempre con la participación de los turistas presentes. Que se conozca España, es normal, pero impulsar la imagen de nuestro país a través de la Banda de nuestro pueblo, es algo que motiva y emociona a todos los “chuchos”. Hasta lagrimillas de emoción se desbordaron de los ojos de algún músico daimieleño ante semejante acontecimiento. Tela marinera el evento de París, luciéndose las banderas de España y de Daimiel, encabezando la comitiva musical, portadas por conocidos personajes locales, mientras ciudadanos del todo el planeta movían cintura y coreaban palmas al paso de nuestra Banda. Inédito e histórico momento de la grandiosa Banda de Música de Daimiel, internacionalizando nuestra ciudad.

Calor ambiental, a raudales, y calor popular del resto del mundo hacia los nuestros. Europeos, americanos, orientales… blancos, negros, amarillos, mestizos…, la fantasía de Disneyland amenizada con música española. La multitud, agolpada en torno a los daimieleños, remataba con olés y rotundos aplausos al término de cada pieza. Regular la borriquilla.

Por parte de la expedición daimieleña se visitó El Louvre, La Torre Eiffel, el Palacio de Versalles, barrios típicos parisienses…, pero por parte del mundo se conoció a la Banda Internacional de Música de Daimiel, haciendo música y haciendo patria. ¡Qué viva la Banda y que viva mi pueblo!
