Chascarrillos y expresiones de siempre, en el argot utilizado por expertos y avispados mercaderes, que logran “convencer” con astutas demostraciones la bondad del género ofrecido, siendo el feligrés habitual afable y sencillo consumidor. El contexto ambiental, si además acompaña la climatología, es propicio para el trato.

Puestos de flores, chiringuitos de calzados, tenderetes de telas, mostradores con frutas y verduras, de toda España o de la tierra, apetitosas y encarnadas sandías abiertas en su mitad, encurtidos, salazones, fiambres, conservas, hasta comida rápida, pollos asados para que si vas con el tiempo justo o te entretienes no te aflijas por ello, pastelería y bollería artesanal a pie del recorrido, pucheros y cazuelas de barro fino, baterías de cocina y cacharros accesorios, cazos, perolas, cuchillos…, hasta llegar al púlpito de los tallos, despachados de arriba hacia abajo, desde el original artilugio con ruedas, vehículo con churrería, que inunda el ambiente del incitante olor de los churros y tallos allí elaborados, en caliente y sobre la marcha, consumidos si se desea hasta con chocolate y café en mesas y sillas adjuntas de típico y reconocible diseño, suponiendo que no te los comas a la vez que oteas los muestrarios en cada bazar del mercantil recorrido, algunos entoldados con rústicos artilugios aéreos que soportan lonetas para prevenir del sol, techos de quita y pon sin necesidad de grúas.

“El martes” de Daimiel acoge a todo el personal, desde los “pudientes” hasta los más “ajustaos”, forma parte histórica del pueblo y allí, entre zona deportiva, taurina, educacional y ecológica, se reúnen al aire libre comerciantes y parroquianos, ambulantes y del lugar, en busca de acuerdos baratillos del agrado de todos. Comercio popular al reclamo del tradicional mercadillo. Ni te cases ni te embarques, pero no faltes al “martes”.
