Al escribir acerca de la Semana Santa de Daimiel, nos ciega un poco la pasión. La querencia hacia lo nuestro y el especial apego a la Semana Grande de nuestra ciudad, tal vez nos niebla un poco los sentimientos y se refleja en el escrito algún atisbo de pasión desbordada. Y es que la Semana de Pasión daimieleña, a pocos deja indiferente. El espíritu cristiano, año tras año, queda reflejado en la calle, con el seguimiento que la gran mayoría de daimieleños y visitantes profesa hacia las procesiones, con su representación andante de la Pasión de Cristo. Y además, en Daimiel, de modo cronológico, ciñéndonos a los hechos históricos paso a paso, mostrando en cada trono la sucesión de los hechos de La Pasión tal como ocurrieron desde la entrada triunfal en Jerusalén hasta la Resurrección.

    ¿Nos ciega la pasión porque somos de Daimiel y apoyamos lo nuestro o de verdad seguimos las procesiones y su significado por cuestione de fe? De todo un poco, pero lo seguro es que se aprecia amor, apego y seguimiento popular en el ambiente semanasantero. Y además, todo esto compartido entre personas de todas las edades, destacando grupos especiales que con su trabajo y dedicación anónima durante el resto del año, hacen posible que se repita al final de la Cuaresma esta manifestación popular detrás del humilde nazareno. Gente joven conforman estos grupos directivos que dan forma a la representación en la calle, las procesiones, y cumplen a la vez con las obligaciones religiosas, cultos, que provienen desde la fe católica y la conmemoración de la Iglesia, arrastrando con su ejemplo a muchos otros.
    “Belleza, ornamentaciones florales, palmas y borriquilla”, sonidos, imágenes, estrenos de vestuarios –“quien no estrena en Domingo de Ramos…”, -olores, rosquillas, flores, rosca-utrera, bacalao y tiznao, rodeados de familiares que se vuelven a juntar, potaje de pellas compartidos y rodeados de túnicas ya planchadas y colgadas, capiruchos y aderezo de “coloraos”, “blancos”, “moraos”, “negros”, “capuchinos”… cordones, coronas de espinas, guantes de diversos colores, medallas…, la Semana Santa de Daimiel, es mucho más importante de lo que a veces creemos, la riqueza artística de los pasos que desfilan con esculturas de Castillo Lastrucci, Alonso Cano, Juan D´Opazo, Darío Fernández Parra, José Rabosa, Faustino Sanz, Francisco Carrera, Carmelitas Descalzas de Daimiel, Luis Álvarez Duarte, Adrián L´Abadie, Hermanos Rivas, José Gutiérrez, Orovio de la Torre, Rafael Irurozqui, Manuel Feria del Río,.. imagen de Jesús procedente del XVII, de autor desconocido…, Francisco de Pablo, Luis Medina, Talleres Garín con el Cristo de la Buena Muerte…, y algún otro anónimo, embellecen una Semana que transmite sentimiento popular profundo, creando, incluso en algunos sectores una manera de vivir, que diría Rosendo.

La Banda de Música Municipal, la Banda de Los Coloraos, que se ha significado por calidad entre las primeras agrupaciones musicales en la España semanasantera, los conciertos en el Teatro Ayala con llenos hasta la bandera, los certámenes al aire libre de Jueves Santo por bandas de cornetas y tambores de distintas poblaciones, los estrenados banderines de promoción que cuelgan en la Plaza de España promovido por la Junta de Hermandades, actos diversos de cofradías e institucionales…, si sigo me falta espacio, me ahogo. “El Niño Perdido”, “Flagelación”, “Mi Jesús”, “Expiración”, “San Juan”, “Sexto Dolor”… entre otras marchas locales, que forman parte de una cultura musical autóctona… “Santa Cena”, “Corbatos”…, sin olvidarnos de la Tertulia Cofrade Cíngulo, que durante todo el año genera actividad en torno a la Semana Santo, creando interés y atención hacia la Semana de Pasión y el culto a sus Sagrados Titulares.
    En fin, que adaptándose a los nuevos tiempos, redes sociales incluidas, el movimiento en torno a La Pasión, no deja de crecer, aumentándose los actos a favor de los más necesitados, espíritu solidario manifestado -con buenos resultados además-, en forma de competiciones deportivas, reuniones gastronómicas, -faltaría más-, y ambiente muy, pero que muy cristiano. Además de pagar la pechería, se vive y se fomenta el espíritu de la Semana Santa con solidaridad.
¿Cuestión de fe? Sólo Dios lo sabe. Mientras tanto, es bueno participar e intervenir apoyando todo cuanto podamos al respecto. Al final, todos vamos por un camino similar, por no decir el mismo, en busca de lo mejor del ser humano, que al fin y al cabo, es la obra de Dios.
    Jóvenes, no perdáis la fe en vuestras creencias cristianas. Detrás está el seguimiento hacia la figura de Cristo, protagonista de la Semana de Pasión, hoy día fenómeno de masas e interés para casi todos.
No quiero que me ciegue la pasión, pero la Semana de Pasión en Daimiel, me apasiona. Adiós. Sin pasión…
