SOCIEDAD GASTRONÓMICA “AMIGOS DEL POTAJE”

El pasado viernes, 1 de Diciembre, tuvo lugar la anual reunión de la Sociedad Gastronómica “Amigos del Potaje” en Daimiel. Asistieron todos sus componentes, en buen estado de salud, que reforzaron al dar buena cuenta del suculento guiso preparado por el maestro gastronómico en este menester, Sr. Díaz de Mera, D. Ramón.
La jornada, iniciada a las 8 de la mañana, por el insigne profesor y sus ayudantes, tuvo el punto álgido alas 3 de la tarde, cuando los comensales miembros de la Sociedad degustaron las primeras cucharadas del preciado manjar. Los gestos de aprobación y primeros comentarios empezaron a fluir por boca de los ilustres comensales, quienes sorprendidos por la exquisitez degustada, glosaban sin cesar la buena mano del artista de la chimenea y el puchero de barro fino de cerámica daimieleña y base de la elaboración del potaje 2017. Los productos naturales utilizados para este sabroso yantar, ingredientes y especias las justas, dieron como resultado un auténtico manjar en el punto ideal de cocción, sabor, presentación y textura. El fuego de leña, la paciencia del experto D. Ramón, el amor y el mimo desplegados durante la mañana en torno al guiso, dieron un espléndido resultado: el potaje de Daimiel, en su más amplia extensión con la “pringá” incluida.  Olor, sabor, buen gusto, cremosidad, judía entera, pan del pueblo y vino español, fusionaron aún más el amigable ambiente que inundaba el espacio del “Salón de la Chimenea”, del “Retiro de los biznietos de la Niña Guapa”, en la Avda. de la Comunidades.

Desde la filosofía gastronómica, de “pan que sobre, potaje que  baste y vino que no falte”, los satisfechos comensales acordaron nombrar Socio Honorario de la Sociedad al Sr. Díaz de Mera, “por su habilidad y destreza en la elaboración de este exquisito y popular manjar”, todo ello plasmado en el correspondiente Diploma, recordatorio de por vida.
Gloria bendita al potaje de D. Ramón. Desde esta Sociedad Gastronómica, se anima a la población para el ejercicio de estas prácticas tan saludables para el cuerpo como para la mente.
