Ha llegado el calor. Ya estamos en ello. La estación para gran parte, asfixiante. El odiado bochorno, afecta más a las cabezas que al físico. ¿o no?. Frío recordado en momentos de agobio por aquello de los 40º. Frío recordado en aquellas noches dando vueltas en la piltra, sin poder pegar ojo, mientras el sudorcillo pegajoso no deja de angustiar con las ventanas de par en par para que se cuele una pizca de brisa que no aparece ni por asomo, mientras seguimos con el recuerdo del frío invernal.
Dice la mayoría que en el invierno nos abrigamos, nos acercamos al brasero mientras nos entontece la tele y ya está. Pero que a ver qué hacemos en verano. Temido verano. Asqueroso y repudiado. ¡Pobrecico verano!, lo ponen verde, a ver qué culpa tiene él.
El estío es de lo más natural del mundo. Cuestión de mentalizarse. Igual que con el invierno. Dice un amigo, filósofo él, que lo mejor es trabajar el cerebro y estar preparados sicológicamente para recibir con alegría a una de las 4 estaciones que nos proporciona la naturaleza. Y extraer de cada una de ellas las mejores conclusiones que nos ofrece nuestro orden natural, rotando y trasladando sin parar.

¿Podríamos beber vino sin calor? Artificialmente, si, pero la viña precisa temperatura que sólo el verano proporciona. Las hortalizas que habitualmente consumimos, más de lo mismo. Melones, sandías, frutales, si no tuvieran el calor original que los hace madurar para su posterior consumo, tan ricamente además, no podrían llegar a buen fin de modo natural. Todos los productos que nos proporciona el campo, la agricultura, necesitan un índice térmico mínimo que implica calor. Esto es la naturaleza. Apliquemos estos principios, básicos para la alimentación humana y entenderemos por qué hay que resoplar para echarnos fuera el calor pero sin olvidar sus beneficios. Aviso especial para temperaturas altas…, aviso especial para mentalizarnos a ello, sin sofocos. Madre mía, qué calor. ¡Pero si es lo que toca!… Calma, paciencia, agua y dentro de ná, otra vez la feria. Mientras tanto, albercas, piscinas, instalaciones municipales, duchas, que además alivian el índice olfatométrico humano, con su desodorante, su colonia fresca, el ventilador…, el que no se consuela es porque no quiere. Y sin olvidarnos del abanico.

Las imágenes que acompañan este escrito son todas ellas refrescantes, captadas en nuestra población, en lugares que están ahí, a la vista, y si nos detenemos un poquito en su contemplación, a lo mejor bajamos sicológicamente unos grados en nuestro cerebro. Y eso, se nota.
Un amigo me comenta que en su oficina de trabajo le piden opinión acerca del aire  acondicionado, ahora, o la calefacción en invierno. El siempre responde lo mismo: “yo soy atérmico”. Hay que adaptarse a lo que nos manda la madre Naturaleza. Hagámosle caso y dejémonos guiar por ella. Si nos manda calor, es que hace falta, lo necesitamos. ¡Qué rico el calor! La Naturaleza, al fin y al cabo, es nuestra madre y madre no hay más que una.
