La llamada del nazareno

            A las siete menos cuarto, con los primeros rayos de luz, Jesús Nazareno ocupó el pretil de la Iglesia de la Paz con los acordes de “El Niño Perdido”. Como es tradición, la plaza de la Paz y alrededores estaba plena de personas emocionadas ante el momento fascinante y mágico de la salida de Jesús. Lágrimas, difícil contener el llanto, recuerdos y costumbrismo religioso y cristiano en el amanecer de cada Viernes Santo en Daimiel. El Nazareno  cautiva a la multitud, creyentes, pasotas y no creyentes. Miles de túnicas moradas y con la cruz a cuestas acompañan en el largo recorrido procesional por las calles de nuestra ciudad. Año tras año, la representación se repite con la presencia permanente de daimieleños y visitantes apostados en aceras y plazas contemplando el paso de cada trono con las imágenes cronológicas de La Pasión.

Niños, jóvenes, mayores, siguen la llamada del Nazareno desde la Paz y hacia la Paz. Recorrido respetuoso y población volcada ante la talla de Jesús genuflexo portando su Cruz.  Seis bandas de música, espaciadamente situadas, interpretan las marchas que cada vez son más conocidas e identificadas por cofrades, penitentes y público en general. “La Madrugá”, “Jesús”, “El Niño Pedido”, “Getsemaní” , etc., suenan al paso de los tronos del “Niño Jesús”, “Coronación de Espinas”, “Jesús ante Pilatos”, “Jesús ayudado por el cirineo”, “Jesús consuela a las mujeres”, “Verónica”, “Jesús Nazareno” y “Virgen del Primer Dolor”.

            Cruces, coronas de espinas, pies descalzos, encadenados… siguen la llamada del Nazareno camino de la Paz. Mensaje de total actualidad.
