Turismo “a tiro piedra”, sin ir más lejos, que no hay que coger aviones y que al bajar te hagan pruebas y que a la más mínima te enchiqueren o te devuelvan a los corrales, que no, que por aquí cerquita puedes conocer y sentir sensaciones que te pueden sorprender y me quedo corto. Y todo esto, sin brotes ni rebrotes, nosotros siempre al trote, despacio, sin salir más lejos de los límites de nuestro espacio natural. Oferta cercana, que no es ni oferta, es decisión propia, de un día para otro lo piensas y decides, porque el viaje es de ida y vuelta en el día.

En la primera parte de esta serie Turismo “a tiro piedra”, nos referimos a Daimiel, algún recorrido cervantino y las Lagunas de Ruidera. En este segundo articulo nos vamos a desplazar por lugares, también próximos, que nos pueden sorprender por su historia, entorno y belleza natural, que nos pueden dejar buenas sensaciones. El covid ha deparado penas y sufrimiento, nos hace ser cautos, nos está cambiando en parte la vida; todas estas consideraciones facultan a la vez momentos apropiados para descubrir, disfrutar y compartir lugares y parajes que los tenemos “a tiro piedra”, entornos naturales y únicos, que son más nuestros, turismo de proximidad en lugares que son de todos.

Qué cerquita nos cae Villarrubia, otro lugar de la Mancha que encierra mucho y de casi todo. Villarrubia de los Ojos, peculiar, rodeada de naturaleza pura, entre Las Tablas y las estribaciones de los Montes de Toledo, la Sierra de Villarrubia, plena de senderos, cerros y flora y fauna propia del lugar, donde habita el lince ibérico o el águila imperial, con el conocido espacio “El Mirador de la Mancha” que ya su propio nombre despierta atención e interés, con sus características casitas de madera; el santuario de la Virgen de la Sierra y la ermita de San Cristóbal, enclavados en terrenos de gran riqueza medioambiental, cautivan al turista de cercanía, que una vez descubierto el entorno, repite visita.

El astroturismo, actividad al auge, nos conduce hasta el Valle de Alcudia y Sierra Madrona, con emplazamientos idóneos donde se adaptan miradores nocturnos desde donde contemplar un impresionante e imponente cielo carente de contaminación lumínica, ideal para plantar telescopios los aficionados a la astronomía con vistas a las estrellas. Destino “Starlight”, nueva oferta turística en localidades próximas del entorno mencionado.

El parque minero de Almadén, Patrimonio de la Humanidad, en población de gran riqueza histórica, con dos mil años de minería del mercurio, es reclamo principal de esta población enclavada entre la Sierra de Cordoneros y la Sierra de la Virgen del Castillo, cerca de Sierra Morena. Sus célebres Minas se pueden visitar, minas que aún conservan instalaciones originales, con sus pozos y galerías. El Hospital, Real Hospital de Mineros de San Rafael, edificio del Siglo XVIII, alberga actualmente el Museo del Minero y el Archivo Histórico de las Minas de Almadén. Y vinculada a este edificio, la Plaza de Toros, Patrimonio de la Humanidad, único coso hexagonal donde en la actualidad se celebran corridas.

Y en tierra de vinos, también “a tiro piedra”, la ciudad de la cultura vitivinícola por excelencia, Valdepeñas , con su Plaza de España de soportales en blanco y añil ; la riqueza arquitectónica religiosa conserva aspectos provenientes del siglo XV en alguna de sus iglesias; el Cerro de las Cabezas es espacio arqueológico, poblado ibérico…; el Molino de Gregorio Prieto, el mayor molino del mundo; el museo de la Fundación Gregorio Prieto, con obras de Prieto y Picasso o Vázquez Díaz…; obligada visita al Museo del Vino, con tinajas de la antigua bodega sobre el que está ubicado, con patios, bodegas, cuevas y entramados de galerías. Vinos y poesía con Tertulia Literaria “El Empotro”… La cultura del vino, también “a tiro piedra”.

Casas rurales o campings; turismo de naturaleza, turismo rural, turismo de interior. Turismo astronómico o gastronómico, buenas viandas y estupendos vinos que también alimentan al turista una vez saciado el hambre ecoturístico y cultural.

Sitios cercanos, con entornos saludables, limpios y puros. Lugares para hacer turismo en la más amplia acepción de la palabra. Muy cerca de nosotros, sin necesidad de alejarnos mucho de nuestro aposento habitual. Podemos viajar, disfrutar, aprender, degustar sabores desconocidos…, “a tiro piedra”.

Pero ojo, la mascarilla siempre por delante, la higiene repetida hasta que nos digan cansinos, el gel siempre a mano y cuidando ,mantener distancias con la debida consideración y respeto, que los hay que se mosquean si te acercas más acá de los límites de seguridad.

Sin ir muy lejos. “El que lee mucho y anda mucho, ve mucho y sabe mucho”. Y estando “a tiro piedra”, mejor. Y sin olvidar la puesta de sol en Las Tablas, atardecer naranja en el Parque de Daimiel.
