Siempre se ha dicho que la información es la base de la actuación, de la formación; es decir, que el mejor informado puede tener la opinión más acertada.
También es verídico que las nuevas tecnologías nos han traído información veraz, de primera mano, importantísima en el mundo del conocimiento y hasta claves en la opinión que los humanos debemos sacar.
Tampoco vamos a poner en tela de juicio que la persona con más conocimientos, con más información y con mayor dominio en el mundo de las nuevas T. I. C. (tecnologías de la información y comunicación), estará más apta para los trabajos actuales, más preparada para un mundo competitivo, seleccionador, …
Pero también el exceso produce un sentimiento de rechazo generalizado que obviamente se puede aplicar a este momento actual que vivimos y de las TIC. Y no digamos al abusivo uso del whatsApp, o de otros medios.

El conocimiento necesita de la maduración, de la reflexión, del procesamiento de datos, … pero es tanta la información que nos llega, que nuestra mente, difícilmente puede procesar todo lo que nos llega.  Aceptemos que el poder de la mente, es casi infinito, incalculable; pero también requiere un tiempo, un procesamiento. Así, con el abusivo y excesivo conjunto de datos que nos está llegando cada minuto, nos despersonaliza un poco, porque no todo lo que nos llega lo recepcionamos. No podemos hacerlo nuestro porque no ha habido tiempo para asimilarlo, ya que inmediatamente recibimos información de otra índole y asunto, que hacen olvidar lo anterior.
Por otra parte, ¡qué alegría! poder comunicarnos todos al unísono. Poder felicitarnos el cumpleaños, el santo, con estas nuevas tecnologías, el Facebook, el whatsApp,… y principalmente con el grupo este y aquel. Eso no está mal, incluso, muy bien. Pero resulta ridículo y hasta sospechoso que estemos permanentemente enganchados a ello y felicitando a quién anteriormente hemos visto o vamos a ver inmediatamente y podremos hacerlo de forma personal e íntima. Y “sospechoso” porque no es natural –con excepciones- que no se produzcan familiaridades in situ, con la persona, pero sí en el grupo de whatsApp, donde todos lo ven, lo comentan y lo frivolizan. “Sospechoso”, porque obedece a un extraño comportamiento humano que en el grupo se trate de aparentar y/o justificar actitudes que en privado no transmitimos a esa persona. Pero será identidad de nuestro tiempo.
¿Cómo habremos sido capaces de vivir, hasta ahora, siglos de humanismo, sin el móvil, sin whatsApp, sin Facebook? Cuando en la actualidad no podemos vivir cinco minutos sin mirar estos medios. Resulta curioso, paradójico, ver a un grupo de personas (tres, cinco, …) sentados a una mesa y todos mirando al móvil. ¿Estarán chateando, entablando relaciones con el “infinito”?

Quizás tengamos más relación y comunicación con nuestros semejantes; pero ¿será la calidad de la comunicación la deseada y aceptable? Lo ponemos en duda, salvo honrosas y hermosas excepciones. No sé si en un futuro inmediato recordaremos aquel chateo que tuvimos con determinada persona o seguiremos dando vivacidad, priorizando, al día que nos juntamos con amigos y hablamos de momentos vividos, discrepancias y favoritismos de unos y otros. Pero claro, no solo se vive del recuerdo. Por favor, no abusen del móvil, es de mala educación, y hasta peligroso.
También es obligado agradecer la enorme información que nos proporcionan estos medios, y no lo valoramos. Cuando nuestra generación hacía bachiller, nos teníamos que imaginar (ingenio puro) la dirección de los campos magnéticos, las cadenas de ADN, los enlaces químicos, …. y muchísimas cosas más. O aprender de memoria: ciudades, capitales, ríos, figuras literarias, nombres científicos de plagas, etc. Hoy se coge el móvil y en 10 segundos se sabe con seguridad dónde está tal ciudad, cómo se comportan los electrones, a qué siglo pertenece tal gobernante o tal batalla ….  Pero la información la tiene el móvil, no nuestra mente. Hasta podría manifestar que eran más seguros los datos cuando nuestra mente los tenía procesados, asimilados. Teníamos claro los elementos químicos que son metales, las ecuaciones matemáticas… Nos sentíamos más seguros de lo que sabíamos. Claro que, siempre éramos conscientes de aquello de SOLO SÉ QUE NO SÉ NADA. Hoy en día, se abusa de resolverlo en 15 segundos preguntándolo a internet. ¿Y si nos falla la cobertura?
No abusemos de estos métodos. Usémoslos en la medida justa, en el término medio. Quizás el uso complementario de ambos comportamientos, culturas, sea lo más positivo y adecuado para el conocimiento y comunicación humana.
