Uno del pueblo.

Del cíngulo, anudado a la cintura, cuelga un rosario en diversas vestimentas de las distintas cofradías de Daimiel. Significa e indica rezo, aludiendo a los misterios de la Virgen María y Jesucristo. Representan sus cuentas los rezos de Ave María, Padrenuestros y Glorias. Desde la fé, los creyentes, por medio del Santo Rosario, piden abundantes gracias. La sarta de cuentas de cada rosario, terminan unidas a una cruz, vínculo inequívoco de este complemento con las procesiones conmemorativas de la Semana Santa y sus nazarenos uniformados con los hábitos tradicionales de cada cofradía.

Desde la devoción, y en un buen ambiente, tranquilo y con luz natural, un personaje popular de Daimiel diseña y fabrica rosarios de madera para las diferentes cofradías daimieleñas. Nos referimos a Pablo González Del Campo Fernández De Marcos, el “San José” del Portal de Belén Viviente, cada año en Navidad.

Pablo, que es carpintero, elabora desde el banco de carpintero de su propio taller, tradicional y de los que ya quedan pocos en Daimiel, un modelo de rosario de madera de diseño personal y único, hecho a mano, cuenta a cuenta, dedicando trabajo, tiempo, mimo y conocimiento, todo ello desde un sentimiento cofrade y el amor a su Semana Santa.

Rosario artístico el ideado y producido por “San José” , convirtiendo en arte una dedicación particular, producto de su ingenio y manos diestras en el oficio de la madera. Rosario de poco peso y mucha calidad, realizado paso a paso con técnicas manuales y totalmente artesanales, con “maquinaria” auxiliar ingeniada por él mismo para el proceso de este trabajo.

Desde las varillas de haya preparadas por Pablo, corta y da forma a las cuentas, con el correspondiente taladro interior que permite el paso del cordón que unirá todo el conjunto, rematado en una cruz de madera, ensamblada también por nuestro artesano.

Habilidad, destreza y maestría, con gran dosis de paciencia, son los “utensilios” que utiliza “San José” para moldear con sus manos el modelo de rosario, que cada vez luce más en las diversas túnicas de Daimiel, con el colorido apropiado para cada una de ellas, con la adecuada capa de barniz o tinte.

Manos creadoras, de artesanía religiosa, logran la obra maestra de este artesano de nuestra ciudad. Este carpintero profesional, se introduce en el arte y la técnica de marquetería, acariciando con sus dedos cada cuenta de haya, con mimo, talento y cariño hasta lograr una obra bien hecha, confeccionada por las manos de un creyente y la profundidad cristiana de un artista. Es la mejor manera de orar de este artesano y cofrade, recitando una oración por cada cuenta del rosario concebido por él mismo.
