El pasado domingo acogió la solemne celebración del Corpus Christi en Daimiel. Hubo devoción, calor y mucho colorido ambiental en torno al recorrido de la  Magna Procesión desde la Parroquia de San Pedro a la de Santa María. Las notas del Himno Nacional anunciaron la salida del Santísimo al pórtico del Templo, continuadas con la tradicional marcha Triunfal en honor al Santo Sacramento.

Muchas personas, el pueblo llano, acompañó en su recorrido al tradicional y excelso cortejo, sobre una trayectoria engalanado por banderas de España y simbología religiosa acorde con el acontecimiento, además de mantones y colgaduras estilosas adornando terrazas y balcones. La Banda de Cornetas y Tambores de Los Coloraos abría el desfile anunciador del paso de La Custodia, acompañada de Estandartes y Banderolas representativas de las Cofradías e Instituciones daimieleñas. Los Altares dispuestos a lo largo del itinerario, cada año adquiriendo mayor calado entre el personal, que dedica desde primeras horas de la mañana el tiempo suficiente para observar uno a uno los Monumentos de distintas asociaciones, religiosas y civiles, que homenajean de este modo el paso de La Eucaristía. Tapices de flores, alfombras de sal o serrín, alegorías autóctonas, detalles de buen gusto…, bien por los organizadores y la gente, cada vez más joven, empatizando y colaborando en la sublime celebración.

La Banda Municipal de Música, precedía el paso de El Altísimo, marcando compases de celebración y gloria, con el acompañamiento  en todo momento de fieles en la fila, niños y niñas de Primera Comunión, instituciones de nuestra ciudad…, refrendado por la Presidencia de Sacerdotes y Autoridades. Magnífica embajada consistorial, con casi todos los nuevos mandatarios cerrando el ejemplar cortejo, demostrando una vez más la buena representación del pueblo.

Daimiel está vivo y en día tan grandioso como el Corpus, la mezcla de incienso, romero, personas, reencuentros, saludos, besos, abrazos, música… y alguna que otra caña, engrandecen creencias que testifican la presencia de Dios en todas partes. Calles céntricas, Plaza de España, Parterre… Gloria bendita y enhorabuena a organizadores, Hermandad Sacramental Cristo del Consuelo, Sacramental de los Esclavos 32, Sacramental de los Señores 33 y Sacramental de las Franciscas. Cristo vence, Cristo reina.
