El pasado dos de Junio se celebraba en la playa de la Albufereta de Alicante la III Travesía de las Canteras donde participaban tres integrantes del Club Natación Daimiel de un total aproximado de 400 participantes en las diferentes categorías.
Jesús Villar terminaba cuarto en la general con un tiempo de 29:27 en la distancia de 2000 metros que le valía para quedar primero de la categoría Infantil masculina.
María Moraleda, en la distancia de 2000 metros, con un tiempo de 36:21, quedaba segunda en la general absoluta femenina y primera en categoría Infantil.
Susana Pérez con un tiempo de 42:56 en 2000 metros quedaba novena de la general absoluta femenina.

Daimiel que tendrá su cita regional más importante el próximo día 8 de Junio en el Pantano de Peñarrolla donde se celebrará el II Campeonato OPEN Regional de Aguas Abiertas.
