El precioso cartel anunciador, basado en “La Borriquilla de Cencerrado”, imagen ganadora del Concurso Fotográfico de este año, nos hacía presagiar una buena cita en el histórico local del Parterre con motivo del Concierto de Semana Santa. Y así fue. La cuna cultural de Daimiel estuvo a rebosar y el borrascoso Jueves Santo no ahogó nuestro presentimiento.

Las Amarguras, de Font de Anta, nos dejaron dulzura musical en su centenario, marcha de las marchas, que abrió el recital. Profesionales de varios instrumentos musicales y directores de Bandas y otros modelos de agrupaciones corales, daban su beneplácito a las imponentes interpretaciones realizadas por nuestra Banda, con la actuación magistral de solistas, bajos, percusión… y hasta cuerda, haciendo sonar correctamente la difícil Sinfonía Incompleta de Schubert en sus dos movimientos y combinando marchas de procesión novedosas con la clásica y solemne Mektub – Estaba escrito –, dedicada a nuestro apreciado Andrés Reguillos, anterior Presidente de “Los Moraos”, y culminando con el estreno absoluto, aquí en Daimiel, en nuestro Teatro Ayala, de la Obra de Concierto para Semana Desde sus Ojos, composición potente y muy descriptiva, acompañada de un vídeo que facilitaba la comprensión musical de la Pasión de Cristo, con cinco partes marcadas, “En el Monte de los Olivos”, “La Captura”, “Soledad del Cautivo”, “Via Crucix” y “Crucifixión”, así escrito y compuesta por el abulense Antonio J. Varas. Gran Programa Musical de Jueves Santo, que no empañó la persistente e inoportuna lluvia, necesaria por otra parte.

El patio de butacas y los distintos palcos, a rebosar de un público expectante y volcado con sus músicos, predisposición correspondida por la alta calidad interpretativa de la Banda Municipal. Ovación interminable del respetable, puesto en pie, tras el bis – tema central de Ben-Hur – “exigido” a fuerza de continuados y cariñosos aplausos. Gran momento cultural el representado y vivido en el histórico Teatro Ayala.
