El velódromo municipal acogerá la segunda prueba de la Liga Intervelódromos de Castilla la Mancha.

Este próximo sábado 23 de marzo, a partir de las 16,00 horas, el velódromo de nuestra localidad será el escenario en donde se celebre la segunda de las cuatro pruebas de las que consta la Liga Regional Intervelodrómos.

Las pistas de ciclismo de Socuellamos, Daimiel, Membrilla y Villarrobledo, por este orden, son los escenarios en donde se va a desarrollar esta edición 2019 de las pruebas de pista de nuestra región, una Liga Intervelodromos que se disputa en las categorías de infantil y cadete, y que organiza la Federación de Ciclismo de Castilla la Mancha, con la estrecha colaboración de los clubes y delegaciones de deporte de las distintas localidades que acogen esta competición.

Este sábado, nuestra localidad albergará las vistosas y espectaculares pruebas de velocidad en 500 metros y el kilómetro y la prueba reina, como es la de puntuación. Serán alrededor de unos setenta jóvenes ciclistas castellano-manchegos, en categoría masculina y femenina, los que se den cita en la tarde del próximo sábado en nuestra localidad, pertenecientes a los clubes ciclista de Castilla la Mancha y alguno que otro que milita en equipos madrileños o valencianos.

Dentro de este buen número de jóvenes promesas del ciclismo regional, hay que destacar, en lo que concierne a nuestros intereses, que serán un total de siete los ciclistas daimieleños que competirán ante su público. Estos son, los infantiles, pertenecientes al Club Ciclista Daimiel; Angel Manuel Alegre de las Morenas, Rodrigo García Fernández, y los hermanos Marc y Alex García Consuegra Miró, así como los cadetes, enrolados en las filas del equipo ciudadrealeño del Grupo PHI, Claudia Martínez Sánchez-Camacho, María García Consuegra Miró y Alonso Pérez Morales.

Cabe destacar que, en la primera de las pruebas celebradas, en Socuellamos, tanto Alex García Consuegra, en categoría infantil, como Alonso Pérez Morales, María Garcia-Consuegra o Claudia Martínez, en categoría cadete, lograron subir al pódium en varias de las pruebas que se desarrollaron en la pista socuellamina.
