… Los viernes por la noche en el ciclo de Conciertos de Verano, que cada año nos ofrece la Banda Municipal de Música. Lástima que ya han terminado y nos despedimos hasta el año que viene por las mismas fechas. El Museo Comarcal de Daimiel acoge en su patio exterior, al aire libre, estos cuatro conciertos anuales que atrae cada vez en mayor número a las personas aficionadas a la música. Las butacas dispuestas para el personal, resultan insuficientes, el patio se queda pequeño y el Museo, que recoge la historia y costumbres de Daimiel y homenajea a Vicente Carranza, Miguel Fisac y Juan D’Opazo, entre otros, también guardará reconocimiento a la Banda de Pedro Fco. Sánchez-Valdepeñas Pozo y sus virtuosos músicos.
Bajo las estrellas, con ambiente veraniego y alguna que otra lagartija merodeando por la cerámica de Carranza que preside el patio, escuchamos y nos dejamos llevar a través de la música a un mundo de fantasía. Clarinetes, bombardinos, tubas, trompetas, saxos, percusión… conjuntados por el entrañable Pedro, son las auténticas estrellas de la noche que nos colocan en un punto de felicidad, paz y sosiego, con el sonido clamoroso añadido de los vítores y ovaciones cada vez más cálidas y duraderas hacia los músicos de Daimiel.
Pasodobles (El Niño de Jerez), oberturas (Virginia), adaptaciones para Banda de Música pop, rock o soul (Beatles, Queen, Mecano), zarzuelas (La Rosa del Azafrán) y alguna fantasía militar (El Sitio de Zaragoza), han conformado entre otros temas las cuatro noches esplendorosas de música en el mismo centro de nuestra ciudad. Habrá que ampliar el patio para poder seguir escuchando en futuros veranos el sonido del Museo.
