El espíritu de superación demostrado por sus componentes, la genuina dirección musical que confiere una matizada personalidad al grupo daimieleño y las permanentes convivencias en grandes Certámenes con las principales Agrupaciones Cofrades de España, cualifican de gran manera a la Banda de Cornetas y Tambores Stmo. Cristo de la Columna, “Los Coloraos”.
Después de 20 años la Banda Cofrade de Daimiel, fundada por el anterior Presidente de los Coloraos, Joaquín Martín-Consuegra Pozuelo, con el apoyo de directivos, amigos y hermanos de la Cofradía, continúa cumpliendo compromisos adquiridos desde años atrás en poblaciones importantes que son Patrimonio de la Semana Santa en España. Compromisos que se renuevan en cada Cuaresma garantizándose la asistencia de nuestra Banda para la siguiente Semana de Pasión.
El público apostado al paso de las distintas procesiones, fieles a sus costumbres, jalean con aplausos encendidos el desfile de la Banda Cofrade de Daimiel, cuya armonía y calidad musical, de difícil logro cala en sus sentimientos. Y es que la función que desempeña la música en la Semana Santa, nos invita al sentimiento en los días de Pasión.
Madrid, Badajoz, San Fernando, Elche, Ciudad Real, Sevilla, Ávila, Valencia, Alicante, Toledo, Hellín, Ayamonte, Talavera, Baeza, Tarancón, Úbeda…, y por supuesto Daimiel, son algunas de las ciudades que han escuchado los buenos acordes musicales compuestos e interpretados por nuestros jóvenes y han visto la marcialidad elegante de la distinguida y uniformada Banda de Los Coloraos.
La Tertulia Cofrade Cíngulo ha reconocido con la entrega del Nazareno de Plata 2018 a la Banda del Stmo. Cristo de la Columna por el 20 Aniversario de su fundación, en un acto público en el Espacio Fisac, con interpretación incluida de algunas marchas propias. La integración de niños, adolescentes y “maduritos” en esta Asociación Cultural daimieleña, propicia la formación musical y humana desde una noble actividad, que a buen seguro influirá además en la educación e instrucción de buenas personas.
