Con calor popular y ambiental fue recibida la Custodia en la Plaza de San Pedro. Se mezclaron el asfalto y el romero como alfombra especial para el Paso Triunfal de Jesús Sacramentado. La V Ruta de Altares del Corpus elaboraron en el recorrido procesional sus Altares en honor a la Divina Presencia por las calles de Daimiel, con el pueblo presente y acompañando en todo momento desde S. Pedro hasta Santa María. Fieles en la fila, niños y niñas de Primera Comunión, Banda de Los Coloraos, Banda de Música, representaciones de Hermandades y Asociaciones y Autoridades, dieron esplendor en este día de finales de primavera pero con sofocos de verano tórrido que hizo subir el consumo de agua entre los participantes en la procesión. Nadie invitó a la canícula, que se presentó sola.

Nada de esto fue óbice para que el solemne desfile hiciera su recorrido triunfal. Mucha juventud, que además de procesionar habían colaborado horas antes en la confección de los cada vez más artísticas y bellos Altares, registrándose gran movimiento de personas, cámara fotográfica en ristre, tomando instantáneas en un recorrido nuevo que genera expectación e interés en las primeras horas de este luminoso Corpus. Nuevas ideas que demuestran que Daimiel está vivo. Gloria bendita.
