La llegada de daimieleños ausentes se aprecia en este Miércoles Santo cuando el Cristo del Consuelo realiza el tradicional Vía Crucis por las calles céntricas de Daimiel y se ve arropado en su recorrido procesional por buen número de vecinos mezclados con caras de paisanos ausentes, fieles a la Semana Santa de Daimiel. La Real e Ilustre Hermandad Sacramental del Santísimo Cristo del Consuelo, con sus hermanos revestidos en fila, portando el hachón de cera natural granate y los devotos penitentes, acompañando durante todo el recorrido, transmiten fe, emoción y religiosidad, que se reafirman aún más entre los cristianos. El trío de música de capilla, interpretando composiciones propias, aporta solemnidad al paso de la valiosa talla del imaginero sevillano Castillo Lastrucci, en un trono renovado con nueva iluminación dentro de la estética tenue de esta composición escultural. Un nuevo y modernizado equipo de megafonía transmiten al público con nitidez absoluta los pasajes evangélicos de cada Estación. El Consuelo, nos llena por dentro.
