La selección de Castilla-La Mancha de natación junior e infantil regresó del V Campeonato de España de Natación por Federaciones Territoriales, celebrado los pasados 11 y 12 de febrero en Castellón, logrando una décima plaza en la clasificación general.
Las clasificaciones en las distintas categorías fueron las siguientes:
En infantil masculino, décima posición con 140 puntos.
En junior masculino, duodécima posición con 149 puntos.
En infantil femenino, séptima posición con 194,5 puntos.
En junior femenino, decimocuarta posición con 130 puntos.
En la total intantil, decima posición con 361,5 puntos.
En la total junior, decimotercera posición con 279 puntos.
La clasificación total fue liderada por la selección de Cataluña, con 1329 puntos, seguida por la selección de Madrid (1260 puntos), y tercera fue Andalucía (1135,5 puntos).
Las nadadoras del Club Natación Daimiel participaron realizando un gran papel. Marta realizó una marca de 5:21.91, en 400 estilos bajando seis segundos su marca personal, terminando en el puesto decimosegundo de su categoría y quinto de las nacidas en 2003. En 200 estilos realizó una marca de 2:34.10 quedando en el puesto decimoquinto de su categoría y séptimo del 2003.Por su parte Valeria realizaba una marca de 2:48.23 en 200 braza, igualando su marca personal, quedando décima de su categoría y cuarta de las nacidas en 2003.
Gran participación que les permite, gracias a las mínimas conseguidas, participar en el Campeonato de España Infantil que se celebrará en Gijón del 18 al 21 de Marzo.
