Nos visitó hace escasas semanas la borrasca Filomena, que nos permitió contemplar imágenes plenas de belleza natural. La madre naturaleza tiene esas cosas, lo mismo nos castiga con un vendaval devastador que nos regala fantásticos paisajes decorados por la nieve.
Y a los pocos días, la temperatura que sube unos grados, se adivina el fín del invierno y se produce la explosión que blanquea el panorama en cuanto te asomas un poquito a los campos de Daimiel: el estallido del almendro en flor, primeras señales que nos envía el orden natural anunciando la primavera.
Es agradable la contemplación de los almendros en flor, transmiten optimismo, elevan el ánimo. Nuestros agricultores sonríen al adivinar el fruto, la almendra, cada vez más solicitada. Aceites, medicinas, perfumes, jabones, licores, pastelerías, postres…. y, en feria, las almendras garrapiñadas cubiertas por una costra grumosa de azúcar además de ser por si misma agradable al paladar y muy nutritiva. La flor del almendro nos trasmite belleza, estética, arte poesía… y a su vez la almendra nos devuelve a lo tangible y material.
