La Junta de Hermandades ha anunciado este fin de semana la cancelación de todas las procesiones previstas para la próxima Semana Santa en Daimiel debido a la pandemia de Covid-19. Se trata del segundo año consecutivo que se toma esta decisión. Su presidente, Fernando Gigante, ha recordado que el resto de actos continúa, incluido el pregón, que correrá a cargo del Delegado Episcopal de Cofradías y Hermandades de la Diócesis de Ciudad Real, Jaime Quiralte Tejero.

Daimiel Noticias. – La Junta de Hermandades ha confirmado este lunes en Radio Daimiel la suspensión de todas las procesiones previstas para la próxima Semana Santa en Daimiel. Se trata de una decisión que, según su presidente, Fernando Gigante, se ha tomado “en consonancia con las orientaciones marcadas por el Obispado, y siguiendo las instrucciones y recomendaciones tanto de las Autoridades Sanitarias como del Ayuntamiento de Daimiel, ante la gravedad de la situación provocada por de la pandemia de Covid-19”.

De esta manera, Daimiel se suma a la lista de localidades que ya han anunciado estas suspensiones. Será el segundo año consecutivo sin desfiles procesionales por el coronavirus, aunque ya en 2019 fueron las lluvias las que impidieron su salida a la calle. Según Gigante, “no es fácil resignarse a dejar a los titulares en los templos y volver a renunciar a vivir una Semana de Pasión en las calles, pero había una gran incertidumbre entre las hermandades y cofradías por ponerse o no manos a la obra con los preparativos”.

En cualquier caso, Gigante subrayó que esta decisión no implica la suspensión total del resto de actos o celebraciones litúrgicas programadas para la Cuaresma con el ánimo de “mantener el espíritu de Semana Santa que deben sentir los cristianos, cofrades y feligreses de nuestras parroquias”. Todas ellas estarán recogidas en la Guía Oficial de Semana Santa 2021 que se presentará el próximo Miércoles de Ceniza, 17 de febrero, en un acto que cumplirá con todas las medidas de seguridad correspondientes, al igual que el resto de eventos y cultos que se darán a conocer. Entre ellos el pregón, que este año correrá a cargo del Delegado Episcopal de Cofradías y Hermandades de la Diócesis de Ciudad Real, Jaime Quiralte Tejero, quién “explicará el sentido de una Semana Santa sin procesiones”. Será el sábado previo al domingo de Ramos, el 27 de marzo. Aún está por decidir la forma en la que llegará a la ciudadanía.

De nuevo en este contexto de recogimiento, Gigante ha animado a cofradías y hermandades a fortalecer la vinculación con las parroquias, “para vivir la Semana Santa trasladando a los fieles el sentimiento y la conmemoración de la Pasión, Muerte y Resurrección de Jesucristo”. De esta manera, el presidente ha recordado que “los actos litúrgicos y encuentros entre hermanos en Cuaresma se mantienen”, y de cara a la Semana Santa, ha animado a las distintas juntas directivas “a ser creativos en sus propuestas para mantener el contacto con los hermanos de una manera diferente”. A todas ellas, Gigante animó a seguir con su labor ya que “ningún trabajo es en vano”. Su presencia, dijo, es valiosa para la sociedad daimieleña “no solo durante la Semana de Pasión, sino durante los 365 días del año”.
