Un restaurante familiar de fuerte raíz torralbeña, presenta su oferta gastronómica para toda la comarca desde sus precios accesibles, un servicio de confianza y una cocina reconocible por su identidad, estilo y carácter propio.

Es en la calle Inocente Hervás 29, de Torralba de Calatrava donde Arturo López-Pastor Álvarez dirige el Restaurante Luján, de rancio sabor familiar con clara e identificable gastronomía. Cerca de cuarenta años de experiencia en el sector, confieren a sus responsables, miembros de saga familiar, absoluta credibilidad. Paula y Juana, esposa y madre respectivamente de nuestro avezado gastrónomo, expresan entre fogones el arte particular de su buena cocina, con la colaboración en fines de semana o fiestas contínuas del calendario, de Octavio y Juan, atendiendo con prestancia y buen gusto, al público fiel que suele ocupar las instalaciones de este entrañable lugar, recientes, atractivas y acogedoras para los comensales, con el también “supervisor” Eugenio, padre de Arturo  y fundador de esta referencia gastronómica de nuestra región.

El menú del día, casero, natural y variado, se oferta de lunes a viernes por nueve euros, compuesto por platos con el estilo de Restaurante Luján, adivinándose la mano de Arturo en la selección de productos y el toque de la cocina de Paula y Juana. Judías blancas con matanza, tiritas rebozadas de lomo extratierno, con un postre de natillas de la casa pueden componer, como ejemplo, este tipo de menú, con las correspondientes bebidas.

El especial fin de semana, incluye tres entrantes al centro, para compartir, un segundo plato con el pertinente postre, café y bebida, con precio único de quince euros. Chipirones rellenos caseros, en salsita de la casa, costillas de cerdo en adobo casero a la brasa, con tarta casera de queso en los postres, nos sirven como modelo para esta exquisita minuta.

Guisos propios, de puchero y con cuchara, se consumen y degustan como norma tradicional en Restaurante Luján, destacando en preferencia las costillas a la brasa con el “toque Luján”.

Un eficiente servicio de comida a domicilio, más los asados y paellas por encargo, trasladan a la propia mesa del cliente la comida preparada cuando llega la ocasión, en días jueves, viernes, sábado y domingo. Baguettes, hamburguesas, guitarras o sándwichs, también forman parte de ese servicio.

Durante todos los días del año, Restaurante Luján sirve a domicilio menú diario para personas mayores, con clientela fija que garantiza con su fidelidad la calidad gastronómica de esta casa. Arturo y su equipo, piensan en los mayores, sirviendo en sus hogares, los trescientos sesenta y cinco días del año, un menú completo, con pan del día y postre.

Todos los días abre sus puertas el popular restaurante de Torralba de Calatrava, a donde se desplazan amantes del buen yantar de toda la comarca. Aventureros de platos y cazuelas, se trasladan desde Ciudad Real, Carrión, Almagro, Bolaños o Daimiel, con repetida frecuencia, para visitar la sala bien atendida del lugar o el colorido y coqueto patio andaluz interior, instalaciones adaptadas para eventos, comuniones, cenas de empresa…

Rigurosas medidas de seguridad frente al covid, con aforos controlados y distancias apropiadas, como buenas practicas habituales para protegernos, mientras activamos olor, sabor, gusto… y buen paladar en Restaurante Luján. Los parroquianos clásicos de Luján , califican “de maravilla…”,”de lujo…”, o “muy bueno…” el entorno culinario de este lugar de La Mancha.

Sin duda, este Restaurante Luján con seña de identidad propia, transmite desde su singular toque a la brasa y sus particulares guisos, un entrañable apego con esencia de confianza.
