A través del tiempo se ha ido adaptando poco a poco la maquinaria a la agricultura, redundando en beneficio y mejor nivel de vida del agricultor. El tractor y la cosechadora fueron precursores de mecanismos agrícolas que liberaron al labrador de la azada, el rastrillo, la hoz, la guadaña, etc. cuyo uso conllevaba un importante plus de dureza en el trabajo del campo. Las máquinas, por tanto, forman ya parte del equipamiento normal entre los agricultores.

Desde el año 1996, contamos en Daimiel con una empresa denominada “SERVICIOS AGRICOLAS JOSE V. CEJUDO”, que así se llama su fundador que se inició como autónomo por aquel tiempo con ayuda de dos o tres personas contratadas esporádicamente. Los servicios que ofrece al sector agrícola son los relacionados con maquinaria y todo tipo de apoyo a la industria agrícola y al propio agricultor. Este emprendedor procede del gremio, ya que su padre cultivaba fincas propias como medio de vida, siendo estos inicios familiares determinantes para el futuro de esta compañía. La transformación extraordinaria de la viña de vaso a la de espaldera, primera experiencia que se produjo en Daimiel por esta empresa, supuso un paso adelante en el asentamiento y progresión de SERVICIOS AGRICOLAS JOSE V. CEJUDO, ya que los resultados obtenidos por parte de los dueños que fueron pioneros, fueron muy satisfactorios, ante la sorpresa del colectivo agrícola que, en general, tachaban de locos a los colegas que invertían en semejantes riesgos. Las máquinas apropiadas realizaban la vendimia en poco más de un día, dependiendo de la extensión de la finca, a una media de dos horas por hectárea.

Cuenta en la actualidad esta empresa con diez empleados, trabajando por Daimiel, toda la zona limítrofe y en general por Castilla la Mancha, siendo la única existente de modo oficial, con servicios de instalaciones de Emparrado, Poda, Pre-poda, Despunte, Labores de tierra, Tratamientos fitosanitarios, Plantación GPS-RTK, Recolección…, contando para ello con dos máquinas vendimiadoras y seis tractores, realizando también transportes de gran tonelaje de grano, uva, etc., con tres remolques de veinticuatro toneladas. Todo ello apropiado para el actual mercado agrícola, que exige medios modernos y de precisión ajustada que aproveche al cien por cien las plantaciones… en fitosanitarios se trabaja con nebulizadores y atomizadores…

Todo ello ha conseguido en los últimos veintiún años la fidelidad de los clientes hacia esta compañía, abierta a los nuevos mercados que van surgiendo en el gremio       -almendra, olivo, pistachos, etc.-
