MARTINEZ MODA, TRES GENERACIONES VISTIENDO A DAIMIEL

Una saga familiar compuesta por abuelos, padres e hijos crean y mantienen un negocio tradicional y con fuerte arraigo en Daimiel desde 1942, poco más de un siglo desde que se iniciara como sastre Celedonio Martínez Rosa allá por 1920, gérmen de esta empresa cuajada en nuestra ciudad. Fue en el número 2 de la calle Virgen de las Cruces, en aquellos años conocida como calle Comercio, donde el bisabuelo de la dinastía implanta la primera sastrería.

José Martínez Guerrero se incorpora al oficio de la mano de su padre, aprendiendo de él dicha especialidad, falleciendo el patriarca al poco tiempo, por lo que el hijo continúa la labor emprendida, manteniendo negocio y empleados con la fuerza de su juventud y la ilusión por su oficio.

Años después, en 1965, traslada la sastrería al número 9 de la misma calle, ya con la ayuda de su esposa Antonia Carranza Gómez, ampliándose el comercio con la tienda de confección para señora y caballero, más la venta de pañería, actividad ésta muy al uso en aquella época.

Diecinueve años transcurren hasta la entrada al negocio familiar de uno de los hijos, Santos Martínez Carranza, reformándose el establecimiento y modernizándolo para la venta de prendas de primeras marcas, allá por 1984, siendo tres años después cuando se amplía Martínez Moda con un segundo local más espacioso en el número 8 de la céntrica calle daimieleña.

Antonio y Juan Carlos, hermanos de Santos, se integran dos años después en la firma familiar, extendiéndose el comercio por Ciudad Real con dos nuevos centros especializados en la distribución de primeras marcas de vestir y sport, creando además tiendas multimarcas e inaugurando un local más en la Plaza de Puertollano, donde se continúa con el mismo estilo respecto a la moda, distinguiéndose la marca Martínez Moda en Daimiel y Denim Blue en la capital y la ciudad minera.

El afán e inquietud de la firma conlleva a la adquisición de nuevo recinto en Cuidad Real, en calle Cardenal Monescillo 2, para ampliación de la empresa, ya en tercera generación creando negocio y generando puestos de trabajo.

Todo tipo de público es atendido y satisfecho en esta célebre casa, regentada en la actualidad por Santos y Juan Carlos Martínez Carranza, mentores de este proyecto más el tesón y esfuerzo de sus empleados, manteniendo entre todos el servicio profesional hacia un público confiado en la trayectoria seria y experimentada de esta firma, tres generaciones de los Martínez, siempre en vanguardia de la Moda.
